Chikara Reiki Do-Ultimate Reiki Package Review

Chikara Reiki Do is unique Reiki Style and is getting mixed feelings; from flat dismissal as a scam to due admiration and praise. Truth to be told there doesn’t seem to be many reviews available by people who have been on both ends so this review is aim to fill that information-gap and give reader full review so he/she can make educated decision. So, let’s get started.

What Makes Chikara Reiki Do System Unique?

1.Self Attunement

Those familiar with Reiki will know that Reiki Attunement takes a central place in the reiki practice. It is said that during the attunement Reiki Teacher passes the ability to channel Reiki to Reiki Student. And as per many this was THE ONLY WAY one can attain access to Reiki.

However, Judith Conroy the founder of the Chikara Reiki Do System is here to tell us that IT IS POSSIBLE to self attune and that is exactly what she is teaching and her entire system, Chikara Reiki Do is based on the self attunement. Based on some responses that Chikara Reiki Do is getting, it does appear that its revelation has somehow caught Reiki community off- guard.

Usui Reiki Attunement

Learning Reiki is so fascinating process. With each new step we discover more about ourselves, about the life itself and of course about the world of Reiki. But how it all starts? How one start his/her journey into this amazing world of Reiki. Well, that is exactly what we will talk about in this post.

What Is Reiki Attunement?

So, What is reiki attunemnt? You might already have heard about the Reiki Attunement and have ever since wonderedd what the reiki attunement really is and what happens during the reiki attunement process.. The Reiki learning process is a little bit different than we could expect it from common sense of the word “learning”. Access to Reiki is gained through so called reiki attunement or reiki initiation process. Reiki Attunement is ceremony in which Reiki Teacher performs pre-set number of positions which can varie between different Reiki styles. There are several types of Reiki Attunement:

Chakra Balancing

Chakra Balancing presents very simple yet very effective and important “tool” ,especially if we discover that one or more of our chakras are weak or blocked, that if used regularly could improve the qualityy of our life significantly.

If you did some research on Reiki Balancing  Chakras you might already come across information that reiki chakras were not part of the “Original Reiki Training” as thought by Dr. Usui. While that might be true, it certainly doesn’t in anyway makes chakra and the chakra system obsolete. To the contrary, it should be noticed that while the twelve positions of the Reiki Full Body Treatment may be designed to supply our gland system with Reiki it at the same time covers all seven main chakras and as we mention in our previous post it is believed that the chakras do affect our glands greatly.

Reiki Chakras

In order to gain better understanding of how reiki works it is important to familiarize ourselves with the our energy body. Therefore in this post I would like to talk about chakras and the chakra system.

What Are Reiki Chakras?

free chakras images Pictures, Images and PhotosThe term Chakra itself is Sanskrit and is translated as a wheel, spinning wheel, or as some refer to chakra as wheel like vortices. It is believed that the reiki chakras are responsible for reception and transmission of energy and they are located in subtle body. While there are many reiki chakras it is very common to speak about seven major reiki chakras which are located along our spine (NOT in physical body) in ascending order starting from the base of the spinal column and moving upward to the scull.

Anodea Judith, the author of “Wheels of Life” gives modern interpretation of the chakras as
centers of activity that receives, assimilates, and expresses life force energy. The word chakra literally translates as as wheel or disk and refers to a spinning sphere of bio-energetic activity emanating from the major nerve ganglia branching forward from the spinal column. Generally, six of these wheels are described, stacked in a column of energy that spans from the base of the spine to the middle of the forehead. And the seventh chakra which is beyond the physical region. It is the six major chakras that correlate with basic states of consciousness.

Can I Learn Reiki?

“Can I learn Reiki?” is a question that I am getting quiet often. And it is actually not surprise at all that people asking this question. It really sounds so fascinating when we hear about Reiki for the very first time, without having any first-hand experience, so that our first instinct usually tell us to dismiss it altogether as a nonsense for it is just absolutely impossible. Something like this can not exist! And indeed what they are asked is to accept is that Reiki is “unseen universal life force energy that is much smarter than we are and knows exactly where to go and what to do. Furthermore, we tell them that this energy heals on all levels of being: physical, mental and emotional.

Reiki Lineage

Reiki Lineage, simply put, refers to all the Reiki Masters starting from Dr. Usui, Dr. Hayashi, Ms. Takata and all the way down to the Reiki Student. Some suggesting that the linage is very important in the process of learning reiki for the last in the line will still teach the same way as the first in the line regardless of time frame. Now when we look into the history of Reiki we see that there are many different reiki styles and most of Reiki Teachers seem to disagree on many aspects of Reiki.

It seems that Reiki has evolved over the time. In addition Ms. Takata never named her successor and some suggest also that she didn’t teach all her students the same way. So what? She was great teacher and that probably has to do more with where the student was at the time and for me this is the way it should be. If two students are on different level than the teaching approach should be different or otherwise it would be wasting the time. So the question we should ask than is:
